Don't give up

Have you ever felt like giving up or quitting your quest for success? at age 64, Diana became the first person to ever swim from Cuba to Florida without a protective cage. it eventually took her 3 days, after five different attempt begining from 1978, to complete this task. Diana was 29 years old when she first tried the swim in 1978. she failed at 29, but she never gave up. somehow she strongly believed on herself, that she one day got the desired result.
she tried for the first time and failed, she failed on her second, third and fourth attempt as well. these futile attempts were not ordinary failures, but scary ones. she was swimming against the ocean current in shark infested waters for days! imagine the level of salt water she was exposed to all those while, yet her mind was still set on setting new records.
The dream to swim across the straits of Florida came to Diana at the age of eight, while she was in Cuba on a trip from her home in Florida in the 1950's. for Diana to have accomplished the dream she had as an eight year old, at the age of sixty four shows she is disciplined, focused and determined. many people might think that Diana Nyad is super woman, who had everything working for her, but she isn't.
Diana had so many setbacks, limitations and barriers, at different points, she had reason to give up on the attempt, but she decided never to do so.
Diana's life goal was to record for swimming from Cuba to Florida. any way she succeeded. you too through determination, hardwork , perseverance, courage, and persistence reach your goals and dream. i assure you, if you do abide by this rules, you will taste victory.
