THE LITTLE BOY AND THE CANDY STORE.
A kid with his dad walked into a candy store and was bedazzled by the
array of numerous provision made available. Confused, “which should I pick?
Which should I choose?’’ the kid was in a battle with his mind. “time is at war
against us son,’’ said the dad. ‘’these are my favorite. No. wait, this, no,
this’’ as the kid said this confusingly he walked along the aisles trying to
surmount indecision. And immediately Came the loud voice from dad, “quick, son.
We should be out of here,’’ This boy did a race with his eyes as he snappily
glanced from one shelf to the other until impatient dad grabbed his hands and
out of the store hurriedly walked they both. The kid wanted them all but ended
up having none. Conquered by indecision, he wept. We are that little boy and
the world we live is that candy store. We are tempted to have a taste of
everything around us, we are tempted to hold on to too many thing because they
look glorious and appealing, sometimes it seems as if we should have and become
everything.
How
have you so forgotten that feeling of strong focus energy when as a child who loved the field X, and
said you would become a practitioner of X at all cost and sticked to that
thought every single minute of the day without losing focus despite the
external and internal challenge you faced. Children are usually definite
carrier wise until most of them grow up then along the line they become
confused on what field is best suited.
There are no temptation that
befalls you such that are not common to man. Every level of success you attain
will require being definite . Have a goal, have a target, have a focus. You don’t
just simply fall for anything. Have a focal point that at any time of the day
when you are awake, when you sleep, when you exercise you still got a specific
direction mentally and thought wise. Success requires a specified direction and
not haphazard movement. Haphazard direction leads to nowhere.
