one sound idea is all you need
Often times we have had about the word idea or let’s make it
practical, we think of an idea every single day. But it’s such a pity that most
folk do not have the slightest definition
or explanation to that.
According to Longman, idea is a plan/ suggestion for a
possible cause of action, especially one that you think of suddenly.
Everybody had thought of an idea, or is currently thinking
of one. It is practical and i think everyone should understand what it is all
about.
Oh yes!!! One sound idea is all you need, it only takes but
one sound idea. The train and the cell phones was an idea, the bullet and the
cars was someone’s idea, the PCs and the electricity we enjoy today was an
idea, the bulb and that latest roofing sheet was an idea, Beauty and the beast
was an idea. In the simplest possible illustration ‘’ everything created or
would ever be created is/will be from an idea.
The internet we surf today in search of subject matters that
may interest us from the comfort of our homes all started from a single idea.
No wonder it has been said that ‘’necessity gave birth to
thought, thought gave birth to an idea, idea gave birth to solution’’. Each of
them forms a linkage in the chain from necessity to solution.
Let me explain in the possible practical term, so everyone
can understand what it’s all about. You know i don’t like leaving anyone out
and i guess that’s the way a good teacher should do.
Before the invention of the cell phones. a necessity arose,
this necessity gave birth to a thought and this was the thought‘’ how do i
communicate to someone in any other part of the world without simply coming in
contact with that person’’? Finally it gave birth to the idea that solved the
problem. Today we all enjoy the benefit of this technology, but you must know
that it was someone’s own idea.
One faithful day. The distance was so far that they became
tired and worried, a thought immediately flashed into his head ‘’ how do i make
my destination nearer and fast as possible’’?
and an idea was born, this idea produced the tyres, engines, steering
and other parts that an automobile should have to make it possible for
transportation. As if by a stroke of magic the plane, car, trains came into
existence.
So the need to make life a better place triggered men into
discovering and uncovering ideas that solved problems.
Life is all about the idea you’ve got and nothing more. You
must have an idea. It’s so unfortunate that majority of our ideas is not sound
enough and that is why many do not achieve their goals or dreams.
Having an idea is one, and a sound idea is another. You must
have a sound idea and not just an idea. Remember the beggar on the street tells
you about his idea, the man struggling to survive tells you about the bunch of
idea he has, a doctor tells you of the idea he’s got in mind. What matters the
most is how sound that idea is in yielding the result you had hoped for.
Many say i want to be rich and famous, i want to live a
fulfilled life, others say i want to be an icon, i want to write my name in the
sand of time and do not have the slightest thought that it only lies in one
sound idea.
Let me make this clear, there is a distinguishing factor
between thought and idea.
Thought is something that you think of, remember or realise.
Whereas a sound idea is the solution to thought.
some interchange this words for each other and others see
both as being the same.
Just one idea can change your life forever, it only takes
one idea for currencies to roll towards your direction, it only takes one sound
idea to lift you from the position of mean men to the position of honour and
fame, just one sound idea can transform you from the ordinary to the
extra-ordinary.
Anyway there is nothing special in the extra-ordinary,
except for one sound idea. Just one
sound idea, only one sound idea.
I remember those good old days when we sang a song ‘’Que
sera sera, whatever will be will be, the future is not for us to see, whatever
will be will be’’.
May be you might have had about that song before, or may be
not. But we sang this song right from the deepest part of our hearth.
Later on in life i came to understand that it’s not really
true, whatever will be will be, if and only when we have a sound idea capable
of triggering a solution.
We can predict the future by the kind of sound idea we
implement today. You got to start dreaming of an idea right here and right now,
But if you all choose to turn your back on these words, i
will not judge you, you are free to leave, you are still free men. But it will
be unwise not to put every of this write up into practical use.
‘’You must have an idea’’ this statement is worth reading
over and over again until it begins to have an effect in your life. no wonder
the great Emerson said’’ great men are those that have see that ideas rule the world’’.
Do i forget Edwin C. Barnes who had a burning desire to
become a business associate with Edison. He had a sound idea, and his dreams
came through.
Charles M. Schwab used it, it worked and the united state
steel co-operation was established.
Tom Monaghan discovered whenever people ordered pizza, they
were hungry and preferred fastness over quality but since it was not readily
available, they waited for thirty minutes before they got it. he thought of how
he could solve this problem.
So he went into preparing about 8000 units of pizza, and
served as many that ordered for it as readily as possible.
Tom Monaghan story is a wonderful story, he grew his own
business from zero to a multibillion dollar service company. He owns Dominos pizza.
All he’s got started with a thought which lead to an idea
and this idea lead to his success. In business.
Sam Walton discovered people preferred buying things in
bulk/wholesale rather than in retail stores, the reason being that it is
cheaper and less expensive.
He immediately started his own stores as a whole sale stores
where he sold different product. The end of the story was he also grew his
business into a really, really large one.
It’s has been rightly quoted’’ wherever there is a Wal-Mart
store all other business around should relocate, or get ready to go bankrupt’’.
Dan Halpin used it, it worked and became the sales manager
for a reputable company within six months, a position that some would gladly
accept after ten years of loyalty to work.
Asa Candler used it, it worked, if you hear of that vast
empire called Coca- Cola you must remember Candler. He used his secret formulae
in mixing some ingredient and Coca-Cola was born.
Dr Frank Gunsalaus used it, it worked and founded the Armour
institute of Technology, now known as Illinois Institute of Technology.
Whenever you hear about Dr Frank, ‘’if i had a million
Dollar guy” should come into your mind.
Many people buy titles, not book content, idea.
Ideas gave birth to Automobiles, electronics, electricity,
kitchen utensils, weapons, and every other thing that was made.
Ideas are money, fame, honour, achievement, fulfilment,
satisfaction, and greatness.
“ A man with idea has everything, and the one without and
idea lacks everything’’.
It’s a sound idea time!!! You can become the next legend to
be celebrated.
