Have you ever wondered why people succeed or achieve note worthy success?
Have you ever wondered why somebody would make a million dollar, loose it. make another million dollar, loose it. make the third , whereas some people can’t even make ends meet?
They do this because of a smartly executed sound form of strategy. It is one thing to strategies and it is another to have a clear, precise, sound form of strategy.
If you want to succeed, of which i know you want to. You must strategies and do not forget this ‘’ it must be clear, sound and definite’’.
At the other hand if you don’t know how to go about it, there are people out there who can help you out with that. Look for a mastermind group who can help you achieve that.
You know i am a great football lover and see the game as a way of achieving or winning in life. before the champions league final is ever played, both teams subject themselves into rigorous training and uncomfortable exercise. Yes i said ‘’uncomfortable’’ because it’s really not comfortable. Success comes with some reasonable amount of hard work and perseverance.
They train and strategies both day and possibly at night just to win the trophy. If this footballers can do like that, how much would you do to make your dream come through? You hear coaches say ‘’ the only way to win in this stage of the competition is by placing your whole life on that round object’’. It doesn’t end there , they also have a strategy book.
The coach weighs the capability of each boys and decide when it’s best suitable for them to come into the field of play and most of all whom to substitute. He also decides who starts and who ends the game.
This strategy in the world of football is known as line up. The first eleven goes into the field of play and later on a maximum of three substitution is made till the end of the game.
I had to use the champions league final because it’s really competitive. If you are a great football lover like me, you will understand what am talking about. But be it the Champions League, FA Cup, Copa De America or any other league be it final or the beginning of the season, they always have a strategy book.
Same applies to all round achievement, be it financial, psychological, mental, spiritual, emotional, physical or any other kind.
Am sure if you want to buy a car, let’s use Bentley as a case study. This super car cost millions of dollar, and it’s SUV is the most expensive in the world presently, prior to the day this article was published.  Getting this super car involves lots of strategy, first of all this would be your thought ‘’ Do i have what it takes to purchase this car, can i afford servicing it when the need arises, do i have engineers in my country or location who would be able to service it, would i go broke if i purchase it, where do i find this car to buy, what’s the price like. In general your first thought would be centred around financial aspect. This are some of the question that would run on your mind before you make up your mind. In summary all these question is a form of strategy.
Strategy is among the top priority when it comes to both financial freedom and all other achievement.
Come to think of it MTN is owned by the south African Government and has been in existence in Nigeria for as long as i can imagine. That it’s brand logo would have been the ‘’first and oldest network’’ in Nigeria, rather than ‘’ the anywhere you go’’. It has existed before the likes of Glo,Airtel, Etisalat.
Most people use MTN in Nigeria than any other network. because of this, The man behind Glo had a thought of a way to increase the demand for his own product. He thought for a while and a clearly sound idea popped up from his head just the exact same way goggle ads does when you list expect when surfing the web.
Statistic has shown that around 60 million Nigerians use the internet every single day. To make this clear, the ratio of data consumption to using airtime for call purpose is higher most especially since the advent of smart phones. And funny enough the ratio is going to double in 10 years time.
Glo had sensed this, and was fully ready and prepared to capitalise on this newly born baby known as ‘’ the Data world in Nigeria’’. For it’s owner had spotted in his hearth ‘’the spirit of a well designed strategy’’. As at the time of writing this ‘’no network comes any closer to glo when it comes to the world of data’’
I personally was enthusiastic to identify with this network line, if for nothing ‘’surfing the web’’
One of the strategies in business most people don’t know about is how to retain customers. Many people see customers as a one time buyer, they do not see the possibility of them coming over and over again and so they treat them unpolitely on the first time. For you to become great at business do not see customers as a one time buyer, rather see them as continuous patronisers. That would help you treat them right at the first time and all the time. The quality of service you give to a customer, most especially first time customer creates a great imprint on that person than you list expect, if you treat him as a really important person he would forever become a loyal customer and would patronize you over and over again. and the most important is he would unconsciously advertise you to friends and family. He would tell them how important he was treated and would recommend them to you, this would boost your business on the long run.
I think when you run a business, the best motto i can suggest for you is ‘’ progress is our most important product’’ with this motto in mind you would try as much as possible to treat customers well. The point here is that a customer is not to be valued on a single sale. Putting a big value on customer is what converts them into big continuous patron. Attaching little value on customers sends them elsewhere.
One day at lunch a student began, ‘’ i decided to try a new cafeteria that had just open a couple of weeks before. Walking past the meat section i saw some turkey and dressing that looked pretty good, and it was plainly marked 39 cents.
‘’when i got to the cash register, the checker looked at my tray and said ’1.09’’. i  politely asked her to check it again because my tally was 99 cents. After giving me a mean glare, she recounted. The difference turned out to be the turkey. She had charged me 49 cents instead of 39 cents. Then i called her attention to the sign, which read 39 cents.
‘’ this really set her off!! I don’t care what the sign says. It’s suppose to be 49 cents. See. Here’s my price list for today. Somebody back there made a mistake. You will have to pay the 49 cents’.
‘’ then i tried to explain to her the only reason i selected the turkey was because it was 39 cents. If it had been marked 49 cent i would have taken something else.
‘’ to this, her answer was ‘’ you will just have to pay the 49 cents’’. I did because i didn’t want to stand there and create a scene. But i decided on the spot that i will never eat there again. The story of this new cafeteria was a bad strategy, they lost that customer forever.
Like i said earlier for you to succeed your strategy must be clear, sound and precise.  Am going to summarize this in three simple words, probably because you might have forgotten what i mentally dumped on you right now. ‘’ successful people strategies’’. Its strategy time!! Go and make your strategy work.
