Becoming a Role Model

Role model has been in existence right from the days of Adam. its has been in existence for a long, long time.                            

 A Role Model is simply a person whose behavior, example or success everyone wants to emulate. becoming a role model is the aspiration of everyone, no one wants to remain without having someone who wishes or try to emmulate their life style. 

Role model involves two things, you one to be like someone or someone wants to be like you. this two factor is the underlying spot between individuals. no one will emulate an unsuccessful individual or someone with a dented name. everyone wants to take on the life style of important successful individual. each person in life has an individual he looks up to each day with a kind of statement that portrays ''i want to be like this person''.

lets take this instance, I may wish to be like David Bryan, yes! probably because of his way of lifestyle. in a more broader terms maybe because of the way he fine tune his hair, his standing and working postures, the way he speaks, and maybe also his kind of achievement.

the other guy over there may say well, i do not wish to emulate David because i don't like the way he talks of even move. i prefer emulating Larry Ellison. when comparing this individuals just mentioned. each one of them have a different view of the kind of person they would love to become. the practice of Hero worship suggest the you want or aspire to be like them.

There are two Kinds of Role model.

1. Good Role Model :

This is someone who do possess all the Positive attribute and confidence for success. no one wants to be like a person who has been weighed down by life and its circumstance. everyone likes a person who is happy with their achievement and strives along side to become better.

2. Bad Role Model : 

This  is a person who's life style and behavior portrays negativity, though they may have become successful becoming successful for this kind of role model is more of achieving through the doors of mistrust, and dishonesty. 

there is something common among people today, ones labelled a success it doesn't matter how it happened, you will see someone who says you are his role model. but there is no such kind of rich virtue like that of honesty and hard work instead of dishonesty and mistrust.

The Key To Becoming a role model involve several trait, these trait is what most people might have had of.

1. Confidence and Believe in ones self :

You can never be a leader if you lack confidence and believe in yourself. i noticed how confidence works. when you are confidence and doing the wrong thing some folks will love you and want to emulate not minding. because they see that kind of great believe and trust you posses at that point in time.               

If you do not believe in yourself it's most certain no one will believe in you, so to become a role model, you must first start with confidence and believe in yourself.

2. Unique Values : 

This trait distinguishes Peter from Paul, James from John.  to be emulated by others who have not gotten to your position, you must posses some unique values they themselves do not possess. the subject of uniqueness has been treated in several life transforming topic, the reason being it is a virtue like no other.

3. Communication Level : 

You must be able to communicate effectively with everyone. if you cannot communicate effectively no one wants to emulate you because of the boredom they would experience when they associate themselves with you. your communication level indicates with sharp signal 'he knows what he is doing'' or maybe it means '' he cares about his followers''. everyone wants to be carried along, no one wants to be left behind. 

4. Leadership : 

To become a role model you must also posses what i term as the '' Leadership command tune''. don't get this wrong. it doesn't mean shouting at them, it only suggest but one thing, ''i am in charge''.

5. Show Respect and Concern :

When you give people their own fair share of respect they would also respect you and admire you.

The greatest strategy to emulation is through the door way of concern. showing concern to people means he is a caring lovable person and of course everyone love those kind of people too with this they begin to see you as a person worth emulating.

6. Expertise :

 Becoming an expert or  very good at a thing attracts people to you. since they see you as a well knowledgeable person in that field, they would see you as a role model.

no one wants to call a novice or an unskilled man a role model knowing fully well he or she has nothing to offer.

7. Admit Mistakes : 

The characteristics of one being able to admit mistakes is an ''attribute of the strong''. when you admit mistakes when wrong, you let them know but one thing. ''i am not proud''.

8. Do Great Things :

 Doing something that is of a classic makes people to feel proud and fulfilled associating with you. if you do something classic, sit back and watch them call you their HERO.
