PRODUCTIVITY DETERMINANT.

If you must be productive, then take note of theses factors to see the very one holding you back.
1. Peer Group: One of the most important things that will either make you or break you are your friends, choose your friends don't let them choose you. You can have the biggest dream in the world but if you don't hang around with people of similar goal or dream you'll not achieve that dream, because you'll always be distracted. Distraction is the opposite of focus, so you'll agree with me that without focus it is impossible to succeed, so choose your friends wisely.
2. Ignorance: There's a popular saying that goes " what I don't know will not know me " when ever I hear people saying that I always laugh. Take this from me " The greatest threat to your life is what you don't know " You'll agree with me that the first step to solving a problem is knowing the cause of that problem, mark the word "KNOWING" and knowing is the opposite of ignorance so if you must be productive you must have deep understanding of your area of specialisation. Knowing a thing is not enough but knowing enough of it, so go for knowledge.
3. Absence Of Set Goals: Goal is vision broken into smaller phases. Daily targets, weekly, monthly etc. Set goals that are achievable don't just set any goal. Now you can use the SMART rule;
S- specific (where, how, when, who)?
M- measurable (quantifiable, variable, physical manifestation)
A- (effort, time, cost, talent, resources, requirements,possibilities)
R - (not fake, don't deceive your self, don't waste your time)
T - (set time for every progressive stage and work by the time schedule).
4. Lack Of Mentorship: If you want to visit someone and you have his or her address, when you get confused on the address you'll ask people around that area. That is how mentorship is.
A mentor is someone who directs you when you get confused, motivates you when you get tired, believes in you even when you don't believe yourself any more. If you don't have such person in your area of specialisation then you'll have problems in your way. So for you to be more productive in your field, look for people that have been there before you and learn from them, take not " learn not copy " and you'll be productive as well.
5. Excuses: I don't have the money, I'm too young for this, I'm too old for this, what if people laugh at me??, what will people say??, they're all excuses. One of my mentors Robert Kyosaki always say this "excuses cost a dime that's why the poor can afford much of it". If you must be productive then keep no room for excuses.
Check your self very well and see what is still keeping you at the bottom of life.
Wake up and work and be that person you've always wished to be. Keep moving, keep learning, keep working. See you at work.
